The Nova Scotia Opposition Leader has penned a letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney. NDP Leader Claudia Chender says there has been a lack of forward momentum on bilateral agreements. She says Nova Scotia is the only Atlantic province that hasn’t signed on to the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund or the national pharmacare coverage for contraceptives and diabetes medication. She is also asking for federal support for the seafood industry, which is dealing with 25 per cent tariffs imposed by China.
