The Macdonald Bridge will be closed overnight Saturday. Halifax Harbour Bridges says it will close at 8:00 p.m. and reopen at 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Crews will be setting up scaffolding for the second phase of Project LifeSpan. Pedestrians and cyclists will still be allowed.
