The investigation into protests and road blockades continues after RCMP arrested two men after searching a cannabis storefront in Potlotek. After the search and arrests, a group of protesters blocked Highway 4. RCMP officers removed firearms from their cruisers and left the vehicles behind. During the course of the protest seven cruisers were damaged. The highway was blocked for the day and was followed with blockades of Highways 102, 105 and 104. The investigations into the illegal sale of cannabis, the illegal blockade of Hwy. 4 and the damage to the police vehicles are ongoing.
