Three seafood businesses, including one in Blandford, are receiving provincial funding for innovative projects. Cedar Bay Grilling Company will receive $950,000 to install a salmon filleting and processing line. The funding is through the Nova Scotia Seafood and Agriculture Strategic Investment Fund. The seafood sector submitted 28 applications for funding, and the province says more recipients may be announced soon as remaining applications are processed.
