Meeting To raise awareness of the urgent need to repair the Arties Pond causeway on highway 331 to avoid disruption of First Responder services.
United Communities Fire Department is holding a meeting in conjunction with MODL Mayor and local councilor and concerned community groups. The purpose is to raise awareness and have the community apply pressure to provincial official to repair the deteriorating causeway at Arties Pond on highway 331. The major concerning is the washout of the road blocking first responders from responding and the single source power and communication line that would also be effected.
“Wednesday Oct. 29th at 7pm there will be an urgent meeting to discuss possible disruption to First Responder Services in United Communities Fire Department District. Hosted by UCFD at the Fire Hall in Cherry Hill we will hear from Fire/Police Services, MODL Council, the Mayor and concerned citizens. Wednesday. Oct 27th 7pm at the Fire Hall in Cherry Hill.”
