It’s going to be a hot week in Lunenburg County. Environment Canada has placed the district under a yellow warning for heat. Daytime highs are expected to soar to the low 30s with humidex values in the high 30s beginning Wednesday afternoon. Overnight lows are only expected in the mid teens, bringing little relief. Conditions should improve for some areas over the weekend, however some counties may see warning level temperatures and or high humidex values continue.
