Workplace Injury Rates at an all-time low

Workplace personal injuries have hit an all-time low, according to the Workers’ Compensation Board. Some of Nova Scotia’s most dangerous industries, like construction, are showing record lows. The manufacturing sector has seen its injury rate decline by 45 per cent over the last ten years. The provincial body says that people who do get injured on the job are returning to work faster.
