Premier Tim Houston says the province is in the process of licensing five gigawatts of offshore energy. He announced on social media that Nova Scotia’s contribution to the Eastern Energy Partnership is Wind West. He called it a bold step forward in clean energy that would create jobs, attract investment, and strengthen our economy with a new transmission cable that would get the province’s energy to market.
