The Halifax Walmart on Mumford Road will remain closed until further notice. The Department of Labour has lifted its stop-work order more than a week after the body of a 19-year-old employee was found by her mother in a walk-in oven in the store’s bakery. During their investigation labour department officers found the store complied with safety standards. While the store remains closed Walmart continues to pay its staff.
