U.S. President Donald Trump is walking back his tariffs on 75 countries for 90 days. World markets have been in full roller-coaster mode since Trump’s reciprocal tariffs went into effect. So far, there is no indication of what effect this will have on Canada as this country currently has 25 per cent tariffs on steel, aluminum and automobiles. While Trump paused his tariffs on most countries, he increased tariffs on China to 125 per cent. Markets surged on Wednesday afternoon on the news.
