It's been announced that proposed U.S. tariffs will be delayed for at least 30 days following a call with President Donald Trump. During their conversation, Trudeau outlined Canada’s $1.3 billion plan to strengthen border security, which includes new technology, helicopters, and nearly 10,000 additional frontline personnel to combat fentanyl and organized crime. He also pledged to appoint a Fentanyl Czar and enhance joint efforts with the U.S. to address money laundering and cartel activity.
