During the next few months experts will be trimming trees near Nova Scotia Power’s lines. In some cases, hazard trees will be removed from Kissing Bridge Road, Maple Avenue, Montgomery Street, Green Street and Victoria Road. The trimming is being done to reduce the risk of power outages because of tree limbs or trees falling on lines. The contractor will make every effort to call homeowners to discuss the work in advance, but if you still have concerns, you can call Town Hall. Drivers are asked to watch for crews and be careful near work sites.
