The fire in the Susie’s Lake area of Halifax is still considered out of control, but the Department of natural Resources says progress is being made. The fire is still estimated to cover 25-30 hectares of land. 12 DNR firefighters and 30 Halifax Fire & Emergency personnel were on site last night. Aircraft support was on hold this morning because of foggy conditions. Some roads remain closed and motorists are being asked to avoid unnecessary travel in the area.
