Daniel Martell’s assault case has been put over until early July. The Crown Attorney says the delay is needed for further disclosure. Martell, who did not appear in court Monday, faces charges of assault, unlawful confinement and sexual assault of an adult victim. Martell denies the charges. He is the stepfather of Lilly and Jack Sullivan, who wandered away from their Pictou County home on May 2nd of last year, and have yet to be found. The RCMP says there is no evidence of violence in the case of the missing children.
