The South Shores Open Doors Association is buying 82 affordable housing units in Bridgewater. The association has entered into a purchasing agreement with Bridgewater developer Craig Schrader. The purchase, which will close early next year, includes 17 residential buildings in Bridgewater. SSODA says that by bringing this housing stock under SSODA's stewardship, they are protecting a vital resource and guaranteeing that these homes will continue to be accessible to individuals and families who need them most. All current residents’ tenancies are secure, and the association assures residents they will not be forced out.
