It took less than two hours for Halifax firefighters to put out a fire on the roof of the Scotiabank Centre. Just before 1:00 Thursday afternoon, firefighters arrived to find a working fire on the roof of the building. Additional resources were requested as crews deployed hose lines and aerial devices to bring the fire under control. By 2:30, the fire was under control.
