Because of road conditions and the forecast all SSRCE schools and worksites will be closed today. For high school students the exam schedule will move forward a day.
Environment Canada says Lunenburg County could see five to ten centimetres of snow with another five centimetres forecast for tonight. The weather agency says the snow is a by-product of a low-pressure system exiting the northeastern U.S. On top of the snow it is going to be cold with a high of minus one and a wind chill of minus 14 this morning and minus five this afternoon.
