Atlantic Canada has seen the second-largest drop in property rents across Canada. Across the country, Rentals.ca and Urbanation report rent dropped for the 11th month in a row. In August the average asking price fell 2.3 per cent compared to August last year. But, rent is still 15 per cent higher than in August of 2022. Alberta saw the largest drop.
