A public hearing is being held to review an application for two new developments in the Heritage Conservation District. The application has been reviewed by town staff and the town’s Heritage Advisory Committee and it meets all the requirements. A residential building is being proposed on Pelham Street and two commercial buildings on Montague. The public is invited to share their thoughts at the public meeting being held on February 11th at 6 p.m. as part of the regular council meeting.
Meanwhile, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is also holding a public meeting. As part of the budget process for the next year, residents are invited to learn about council’s draft strategic priorities. The open house is being held at the Best Western Bridgewater on February 6th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is no formal presentation so drop in anytime between those hours.
