The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg is moving to address excessive nuisance concerns. Early last year, council asked staff to develop a bylaw to tackle concerns, especially in the summer. Staff discussed the issue with the Police Advisory Board and The forestry industry. A draft is going to be presented to the MoDL Policy & Strategy Committee tomorrow. The committee will review the proposed Neighbourhood Nuisance By-law and decide whether to recommend it to Council for First Reading at the Council Meeting on April 22, 2025. Residents will be able to provide input on the bylaw before it is adopted.
