Thousands of lobster bands are washing up on Nova Scotia’s shores. CBC News reports that Scotian Shores, an environmental group based in the Annapolis Valley, says within the first two weeks of the year, they’ve found thousands of the bands. Once reported as biodegradable a group spokesperson says they pose a threat to wildlife.
