Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston has responded to Donald Trump’s tariffs. On social media, he called the U.S. President a “short-sighted man who wields his power just for the sake of it, not having any consideration for the destructive impact of his decisions on both Canadians and Americans.” Houston has ordered American booze off the shelves of the NSLC and says the province will reject bids from American companies for contracts in the province and will look at cancelling existing contracts as retaliation efforts.
