Northern Pulp Nova Scotia is to begin selling off its assets as it failed to secure funding to build a new mill. Northern Pulp has been under creditor protection since its kraft pulp mill closed in Pictou County in 2020. The new mill would have come at a cost of $2.5 billion dollars.
