The union representing thousands of long-term care workers in Nova Scotia say there is still no deal with the province. CUPE says it is at an impasse with the province after a conciliation meeting this week ended without a new contract. The union says the province has now presented the same contract offer to the union four times in a row without any changes. The two sides have one more conciliation meeting in late March. If a new agreement is not reached, the workers at 52 homes could strike.
