The first of many Municipality of the District of Lunenburg Land Use Planning Open Houses will be held today. The meetings will allow members of the public to provide feedback on the proposed drafts of the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw. The district has heard from many residents who have serious concerns, including the impact on small-scale agriculture and the concern that the draft documents are too restrictive. Today’s meetings will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Municipal Services Building and at 6:00 p.m. at the Tri-District Hall.
