It’s number-crunching time for staff at the District of Lunenburg. The budget process began with a Strategic Priorities Open House last week where the public offered comments on council’s draft strategic priorities. For the next six meetings, members of the public will be invited to speak to council after budget presentations. The first meeting is being held on February 25th at 9 am in Council Chambers. The final meeting, when council will vote on the budget, will be on April 8th. The meeting schedule is on the district’s website.
