Nova Scotia’s minimum wage will go up twice in 2026. The first increase will be in April, when it will rise to $16.75 an hour, before reaching $17.00 an hour in October. Right now, minimum wage is $16.50. The Minimum Wage Review Committee, made up of employer and employee representatives, unanimously voted for the wage hike.
