The Mahone Bay Water Utility is looking for volunteers for its lead sampling program. While lead is not a concern with the water that comes from the water treatment plant, if you own an older home, it may be present in pipes or fixtures. The utility needs 10 volunteers to test the water to meet Health Canada testing requirements.
