Premier Tim Houston says “these are difficult days” for the more than 200,000 Catholic Nova Scotians following Pope Francis's death. The head of the Catholic Church died early Easter Monday at the age of 88. Houston says Francis will be remembered for championing climate change and environmental stewardship. He hopes Nova Scotians mourning the pontiff’s death will find comfort in their faith and in Pope Francis's life and legacy.
