Residents are welcome to learn about the invasive species damaging hemlocks in Lunenburg County. Hemlocks are a significant part of the woodlands and are under threat from the insect, the Woolly Adelgid. A few information sessions are being held where people can learn about the infestation, what to do to help, and how the county is working to protect the hemlocks. The first meeting is at Miller Point Peace Park on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
