Federal funding for switching from an oil furnace to a heat pump ends next year for Nova Scotians. Natural Resources Canada says more than 9,000 homes in the province received the rebate in the last three years. The department says the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program will continue in other provinces until 2027 because of high demand in Nova Scotia, the program’s funding has been fully committed.
