The Fire Hall Apron Replacement tender has been awarded to Dexter Construction. Lunenburg Council approved $212,000 for the project. The apron is the large concrete surface directly in front of the fire hall’s vehicle bays. The current apron has significantly deteriorated, with large cracks and crumbling concrete, creating safety risks for personnel and equipment. The project budget is just over $67,000 than what was approved in last year’s budget.
