Queens District RCMP is investigating a fatal structure fire outside of Kempt. At 6:30 Monday evening, emergency crews arrived at a remote cabin fire on Albanyview Road. When the fire was extinguished, human remains were found inside. The RCMP was notified. At this time, the fire is not believed to be suspicious. The RCMP, Nova Scotia Fire Marshall’s Office and the Medical Examiner continue the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Queens District RCMP.
