Wednesday’s lockdown of NSCC in Bridgewater was a false alarm. In a Facebook message posted after the situation had been resolved, the Bridgewater Police say an RCMP officer was flagged down by a driver on High Street who said the man from Monday’s police search had walked into the campus. The officer notified college staff, and the campus was locked down. Bridgewater Police determined that the wanted man was not, and had not been, on campus. The lockdown was then lifted.
