Voter turnout in Nova Scotia has reached a historic low. Elections Nova Scotia says 44.9 per cent of registered voters cast a ballot in the provincial election on November 26th. The lowest turnout was among voters between the ages of 18 and 24, with only 16.6 per cent voting. Only 23.8 per cent of people between the ages of 25 and 34 chose to vote. The highest number of voters was between the ages of 75 and older at 66.6 per cent, followed by the 65- to 74-year-old cohort.
