Dumping Day is not happening today. On Saturday, it was decided to delay the start of lobster season in Lobster Fishing Areas 33 and 34 until Tuesday. High winds are the cause of the delayed start. Another weather call will be held today with industry officials. The season runs until the end of May. Last year, the season was delayed until December because of poor weather.
