Two people face drug trafficking charges after an investigation in Lunenburg and Queens’ Counties. The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit did a targeted traffic stop in Hebbville in connection with the ongoing investigation. The occupants of the vehicle, a 30-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, were safely arrested. Later, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Conquerall Mills. A search of the home and the vehicle led officers to seize a quantity of cocaine, hydromorphone, cash, ammunition and cell phones. They were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on August 20.
