A 64-year-old Shelburne County man faces nine drug related charges. The Southwest Nova RCMP Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Ohio and found more than a kilogram of cocaine, over three kilograms of cannabis, 60,000 unstamped cigarettes, $50,000 in cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia and a machete. Police said the investigation began in 2024 and is being assisted by the Shelburne RCMP Detachment, Bridgewater Police Service, the Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia and the Department of Service Nova Scotia.
