Firefighters responded using radios
Near Walden, a group of firefighters successfully prevented a dangerous situation from worsening during a heat wave. A young man alerted the fire chief to a woods fire, but couldn't call 911 due to no cell service. The firefighters quickly responded, using radios to coordinate their efforts and locate the flames. Despite the challenging conditions, they were able to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage.
