However, since its opening, there has been an increase in police activity in the area.
Mayor Mitchell stressed the importance of building relationships with those in need and separating addiction and mental health issues from criminal activity. He also mentioned a productive meeting with the Bridgewater Police Service and the John Howard Society to improve the situation. The John Howard Society focuses on supporting the needs of convicts.
