A vibrant celebration is set for May 29th at the Lunenburg Academy. At 12:30 p.m. 50 new Canadians from 17 different countries will be welcomed during Citizenship Week. Following the citizenship ceremony everyone is invited to a public celebration, called Circle of Unity on the grounds of the Academy. It will feature messages from elected officials and community voices, performances by Corbies and the Bluenose Academy Choir and Brass Quintet and a powerful Circle of Unity around the Lunenburg Academy, captured by a drone and shared globally.
