The cause of death of a great white shark, washed ashore near Pictou, remains unclear. The Marine Animal Response says the body of the 580-kilogram male shark was found on Friday on a beach. Researchers spent the weekend doing a necropsy, but there were no obvious signs of death, and more testing is needed.
