It didn’t make the first cut of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s list of greenlit major industrial projects, but Nova Scotia’s Wind West project has been shortlisted for the next round. Carney says the project is in the early stages of development and requires further work, but could be included in the next announcement. Premier Tim Houston took to social media to thank the PM for putting his faith in the project. Houston says the provincial government believes in his vision of Canada as an energy superpower and feels strongly that Nova Scotia can contribute much to reaching this goal.
