A public information session is being held later this month about Cape LaHave Island. Following the public consultation that was held last year, the District and the Nova Scotia Nature Trust will share the What We Heard Report. Officials will also present the proposed permitted uses under the Conservation Easement for the Island. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the West Dublin Hall. Cape LaHave Island is one of Nova Scotia’s largest, undeveloped coastal islands—home to rare species, diverse ecosystems, and rich cultural history.
