The renewal project on the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Bridgewater is set to start on Monday. The project will include the replacement of the bridge’s expansion joints and renewal work of the bridge deck and its sidewalks. The bridge renewal work is expected to take up to 10 weeks to complete, concluding in early October. During the work, all traffic lights on both sides of the bridge will be active as usual, and traffic control personnel are not expected to be present. Traffic across the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction during the work.
