It took a couple of hours but internet and mobile service for Telus customers in Atlantic Canada was eventually restored yesterday. The outage was caused by a problem at Bell Canada, but the telecom ruled out any cybersecurity issue quickly. Bell says the outage was a technical issue caused by an update to some of its routers.
