It’s back to work for Nova Scotia’s MLAs. The fall legislative session gets underway today. Ahead of today, the Nova Scotia Liberals has released its fall priorities, which include decreasing the cost of electrical bills, the high cost of living, specifically housing and food and a plan to push for a minimum age to use social media. Meanwhile, the NDP is also pushing for lower power bills. The latest polling from Abacus Data shows Premier Tim Houston’s Progressive Conservatives still hold a firm lead on public support levels, at 52 per cent provincewide, down three points from May.
