About half of American liquor has been sold at the NSLC after being restocked on store shelves in December. That totals about $7 million in retail sales. The sale of American alcohol was approved by the province after being pulled off shelves last year because of the trade war with the U.S. The net profit of the sales will be donated to local food organizations like Feed Nova Scotia. Premier Tim Houston says once the stock is gone the province will not be ordering more from American producers.
