1:00 pm to 1:30 pm Marilyn D'Entremont's presentation: she is a volunteer with Threads of Life(Threads of Life is a Canadian charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by workplace injuries, illnesses, or deaths, while also promoting cultural preservation through textile arts)

Overview: Stories of the Sea….. Remembrance & Reflection is a gathering for those connected to the fishery to come together to listen to personal stories that have impacted so many lives. Stories of loss and stories of survival. A safe space to connect, remember, and reflect.

100th Fishers Memorial Service

Overview: This year marks the Town of Lunenburg’s 100th Fisher’s Memorial Service. A community service to honour those who were lost to the sea and the loved ones left behind to grieve.

Location: event tent at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic wharf side
Overview: To acknowledge the significance of the legacy of the 100th Fishers Memorial Service the Town of Lunenburg, LBOT, and the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic with the generous sponsorships of many local businesses there will be a Memorial Mug Up Reception. The Mug Up is open to those who have attended the service.
