A huge haul of scallop meat in Southwest Nova Scotia. Fisheries and Oceans Canada says the person, who has not been identified, was fishing illegally and officers boarded the vessel to find $1.1 million of scallop meat. Officers found more than 22 thousand kilograms on board, and all unshucked scallops were returned to the sea. Charges include fishing in a closed area and other violations under the Fisheries Act.
